I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant last week! The staff were super welcoming, and the atmosphere felt very homely. I ordered the wonton soup, and it was delightful—perfectly seasoned. I also loved the sizzling beef; it was delicious! One minor note is that the tables were a bit close together, making it a bit noisy at times, but overall, the food made up for it!

What a gem of a place! I stumbled upon this little Chinese restaurant while wandering around the neighbourhood and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Mongolian lamb and some fried rice, and I was blown away. The lamb was tender, marinated to perfection, and the sauce had just the right kick. The fried rice was fluffy and full of vegetables, making it a great side. I especially appreciated the generous portions; you definitely get value for your money here. The service was friendly but a bit slow on a busy night, which was understandable given how packed it was. I would suggest maybe adding another staff member during peak hours to keep things moving a bit faster. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I am already planning my next visit to try their dumplings!

For the main course, I opted for the sweet and sour chicken, and let me tell you, it was one of the best I’ve ever had! The chicken was tender, and the sauce was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and with just the right amount of tang. My partner had the beef with black bean sauce, which was also delicious but could have used a bit more spice to elevate the flavour. One thing I wish is that they offered a few more dessert options, as we left without trying anything sweet. Overall, the prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic Chinese cuisine in a relaxed setting!
